Air Canada has revealed a significant expansion for Summer 2025. The airline will introduce new seasonal routes, increase flight frequencies, and expand seat capacity on popular routes.
These changes aim to connect Canadian travelers to more destinations across Europe, the United States, and Asia. The airline’s plans include new services from Montreal to Naples, Toronto to Prague, and Ottawa to London, with even more frequency on routes to Rome, Athens, and Paris.

This expanded European service offers exciting options for those ready to explore the continent. Beginning May 16, 2025, Montreal will have four-times-weekly direct flights to Naples, Italy.
Departures from Montreal will leave at 19:15, arriving in Naples the next day at 09:30. Flights from Naples to Montreal will run on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Air Canada will also launch a direct route between Montreal and Porto, Portugal, for summer travelers. Flights will leave Montreal four times weekly in early June, departing at 21:55.
Passengers will arrive in Porto by 09:45 the next day, ideal for a full day of exploration. Returning flights leave Porto at 12:15 and land in Montreal at 14:35.
From Toronto, travelers can look forward to a new direct route to Prague. This route begins June 6 and will operate three times per week, with flights departing Toronto at 20:25 and landing in Prague at 10:45 the next day.
Return flights from Prague to Toronto will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

Ottawa residents will also see new opportunities with a direct connection to London. Starting March 31, 2025, flights will leave Ottawa twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays. These flights depart Ottawa at 18:40 and reach London by 06:30.
Additional flights from Ottawa to London will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays, departing at 20:55 and landing in London at 08:35.
Beyond new routes, Air Canada will add flights to several popular European destinations. Rome and Athens will both see more flights, with up to three daily options from Canada. Travelers to Stockholm from Toronto will now have four weekly flight options.
Meanwhile, the Toronto-Madrid route will increase daily service, allowing more flexibility for Canadian travelers.
Paris-bound passengers will also have additional choices. The airline plans to deploy Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on its Toronto and Montreal to Paris routes. This change will provide up to 1,300 daily seats between Canada and Paris, meeting the rising demand for travel to the French capital.

From Vancouver, Air Canada will launch a new route to Nashville thrice weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This new route makes exploring Music City easier for Canadians.
Returning flights will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, providing flexibility for weekend getaways or extended stays.
Montreal will see a new connection to Cincinnati, operating daily from May 22 to October 14, 2025. This addition strengthens Air Canada’s existing network to Cincinnati, which already includes service from Toronto.
This daily service makes it easier for passengers to travel between Montreal and Ohio’s central city.
The airline will also resume flights between Toronto and Jacksonville. Starting May 22, this route will operate daily and year-round, offering the only non-stop service between Canada and Northern Florida.
Canadian travelers can now easily reach Jacksonville without needing connections, improving convenience.
In addition to these new routes, Air Canada will add daily flights to several major U.S. cities from Toronto and Montreal. Toronto will see new daily flights to Indianapolis, Boston, Tampa, and Dallas-Fort Worth.
From Montreal, passengers can look forward to new daily service to Denver, Nashville, and Raleigh-Durham. For summer 2025, the Montreal-Tampa route will increase from three times weekly to daily service.
